V International Forum "Primakov Readings"
The Forum 2019
Confrontation Revisited: Any Alternatives?
We ensure that each year the Readings focus on the most topical issues on the current international agenda. Therefore, in the "Year of Primakov" we have had our annual meeting named Confrontation Revisited: Any Alternatives?
The 5th Readings were taking place in the year of the 90th anniversary of the birth of Evgeniy Primakov. On February 16, 2019 the Munich Security Conference already hosted a Primakov Readings roundtable called Russia, the West and the Rest of the World and aimed at reflecting on the challenges and threats facing the modern world. The round table was addressed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev, directors of the world’s top expert centers (Think Tanks) from Russia, Germany, Italy, India, the US and France.
This year’s event would be attended by more than 80 leading foreign experts.
